MARTIAL ARTS
Alameda County is safer with discipline.
DSAL Martial Arts is a free and open-to-all program that serves ages 8 and up. Our coaches meet our participants at their individual fitness level and use martial arts to build discipline, confidence and community. The program focuses on self-awareness and discipline as a way to avoid violence and encourage mindful and non-violent resolution.
DSAL Martial Arts is located at the Hayward Adult School: 22100 Princeton St, Hayward, CA 94541
MARTIAL ARTS AND PUBLIC SAFETY
Martial Arts is a vital component in our goal to develop a new model of public safety and reinvest in our least served communities.
The program's emphasis on discipline, confidence and community is reinforced by a specific curriculum designed to create self-awareness and control. By continually encouraging participants to avoid violence and rely the discipline they develop through the program.
The life skills and group accountability of each class, encourage a healthier lifestyle through movement. Martial Arts, like all of DSAL's recreation programs
