FOOD ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND JOB TRAINING

Dig Deep Farms supports DSAL’s efforts to build Financial Capital in the Eden Area. We've built a network of partners that can support local food entrepreneurs, connect people to career pathways, and create living-wage small business jobs in and around the Food Hub.

Food Entrepreneurship Support includes commercial kitchen/food storage rentals so you can incubate your small business at the Food Hub and tap into our growing network of partner organizations. The network includes organizations that provide:

  • Free or low-cost business planning, marketing, and financing assistance to aspiring local entrepreneurs who want to start a catering, event production or specialty food business

  • Help identifying and enrolling in career pathway programs in permaculture, food processing, TDL (transportation, distribution & logistics), and restaurant work (including supervision/management)
