CIRCULAR FOOD ECONOMY

DSAL is creating an innovative and sustainable Circular Food Economy that repurposes waste into fuel for the next cycle. The same is true with the economic side: each dollar spent is reinvested back into Alameda County and every job created supports a family in the county.

This model follows the circular flow of (1) recover, (2) produce, (3) aggregate, (4) process and (5) distribute. Each stage feeds into the next and constantly reinvests resources back into the community.
