On November 21, the 3rd Annual Free Turkey Giveaway was held in partnership with DSAL, offering Thanksgiving turkeys and essential bags of groceries to families facing food insecurity.

Filo’s participation reflects a small ecosystem of siblings supporting siblings - each motivated to stay active, push themselves, and celebrate one another’s progress. When a family engages together, they create bonds that go beyond the playing field - encouraging, holding each other accountable, and sharing in moments of achievement.

Through DSAL soccer, Galilea has grown in confidence, made new friends, and inspired her teammates-even bringing her mom into the program to share in the fun and healthy habits. Their story details how DSAL Health & Fitness programming can strengthen entire families.
