WRESTLING

Alameda County is safer with discipline.

DSAL Wrestling is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to provide and promote wrestling activities for kindergarten through high school aged youth, primarily residing in or attending schools within Alameda County.

We are promoting excellence in wrestling, and positively influencing the lives of kids in the Alameda County communities, by developing commitment through a fun and affordable team-oriented experience at practices and competitions, emphasizing sportsmanship, teamwork, skill building, physical conditioning, goal setting, a competitive spirit, hard work and a winning attitude.  Our goal is to help guide our athletes to become the best and prepare them to face all of life’s challenges.

WRESTLING AND PUBLIC SAFETY

Wrestling is a vital component in our goal to develop a new model of public safety and reinvest in our least served communities.

The program's emphasis on discipline, confidence and community is reinforced by a specific curriculum designed to create self-awareness and control. By continually encouraging participants to avoid violence and rely the discipline they develop through the program.

The life skills and group accountability of each class, encourage a healthier lifestyle through movement.
