We have a new coach!
We're delighted to welcome Marissa Alvarez to the team as our new Recreation and Athletics Programs Manager! A former collegiate student-athlete, Marissa brings several years of experience in collegiate athletics, student mentorship, and coaching to DSAL.
Passionate about the role sports and recreation play in youth development, she believes in helping young people build confidence, discipline, resilience, and a sense of belonging.
“I’m excited to be part of Alameda County Deputy Sheriffs' Activities League and look forward to getting to know the youth and families in our community while helping create opportunities for kids to try new things, discover their strengths, and have fun along the way!”
