This key role will oversee our work to enhance our DDF Food Hub as a self-sustaining business operation. As well as oversee all aspects of our commercial kitchen, including but not limited to vendor coordination, revenue generation and vendor outreach, rental and storage management, “Big Blue” mobile kitchen usage and more.
The Delivery/Warehouse Crewperson is responsible for collecting, packing, and delivering food. Pickups can occur at local farms, school district sites, restaurants, and farmer’s markets. Deliveries happen with refrigerated vans to affordable housing complexes, local residences, and other sites where vulnerable people can gain access to the food in tandem. The driver must work closely with community partners, residents, Food Farmacy staff and administration. This position will work alongside job trainees reentering from incarceration.
The DSAL Boxing/Combat Sports Coach will organize and facilitate all classes and operations of the DSAL boxing gym. The Boxing/Combat Sports Coach reports to the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office Boxing Coordinators and Recreation Director.
