Fitness Instructor (Juvenile Justice Center)
$21-24/hour x 32-40 hours per week, 401K, Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, Paid Time Off
The DSAL Fitness Coach will organize and facilitate all classes and operations at the Juvenile Justice Center. The Fitness Coach reports to the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office Recreation Director.
Work hours are generally 7:30am - 4pm, but schedules can be set according to individual employees’ needs, with supervisor approval.
Valid CA driver’s license and clean motor vehicle record required.
Responsibilities include collecting, packing, and delivering food. Pickups occur at local farms, school district sites, restaurants, & farmer’s markets. Deliveries go to affordable housing complexes, residences, and sites where vulnerable people can gain access. The driver works closely with community partners, residents, Food Farmacy staff & admin. This position will work alongside job trainees reentering from incarceration.
