‘Farm-acy’ County Food Hub Opens as ‘New War on Poverty’

...Working in conjunction with dozens of community groups, the Alameda County Deputy Sheriffs’ Activities League (DSAL), Sheriff’s Office, and All IN Alameda County (a “New War on Poverty” sponsored by the county) spent the last 10 years preparing this project, hoping it will ultimately lead to a safer and healthier community.
